Create new event
Choose the "event" content type if you want to announce a specific event which will have an exact duration and location.
- In order to create a new event, click on this link. A
form will be opened in a new window.

Fill out title and description. Make sure the acronym of your group
(RCSL, CRN 01, WG 02, etc.) is part of the title.

Enter the event start and end times. You can click on the little
calendar icon to choose a data from a pop up calendar

If you don't know the event location yet, you can leave it blank.
You can edit the entry later.

In the "Event body text" form, provide detailed information about
the event and how to get there.

Skip the "attendees" field.
- Choose applicable Keywords from the "Event type(s)" fields.

Optionally, you can fill out the Event URL, Contact Name, Contact
E-mail, Contact Phone fields

If you want to enable visitors of the event announcement to leave a
comment, click on "Enabled" in the "Allow Discussion on this item"
field.

To enter the event into the system, press "Save" at the end of the
form.
- Now, your event is in the system, but it is not visible yet to
other site visitors. You must submit it for review by clicking "submit"
in the "state" dropdown menu:
- The event will now be reviewed by the Website administrator (this
is to avoid spam) and then published.
