All tours start with a train ride from Berlin to Potsdam main station. The bus will take the group from there through the city to the two most interesting of the 14 castles. One of the two will also be seen from inside. Afterwards, the bus guides the tour back to Berlin and the main building of the Humboldt-University.

The following points of interest are part of all TOURS BY BUS through Potsdam (the order will differ according to the tour and traffic):

• Parliament of the State of Brandenburg, Brewery hill and the ‘long bridge’,
• The old market place – the original center of the town –,  with all its important buildings and explanations on the old and gone city castle,
• The new market place with the old scale and explanations on the old and gone church of the Prussian kings (Garnisonskirche),
• The old parts of the city, including the old canal,
• The 17th, 18th and 19th century parts of the city development,
• The Dutch quarter,
• Going around the famous park of Sans Souci, with all its important buildings,
• The suburb towards Berlin and the famous “spy-bridge” (Glienicker Brücke),

then the return trip towards Berlin along the 3.5 miles long old “Reichsstraße 1” and

• The West and Southwest of Berlin – Water, Forest, Villas . . .,
• Clayallee and the former US-headquarters,
• The new West and the boulevard “Kurfürstendamm”,
• Tiergarten and the old and new center of Berlin.

Due to traffic or time circumstances, the list and the order of the above mentioned points may vary and may not always include every single one. The interests and wishes of the individual groups will be considered and realized as often as possible. The final decision on the possible route and stops is always up to the tour-guide.
